Privacy policy.

Talven ("Talven", "we", "us") is a performance footwear brand based in India. We run talven.in and decide how the personal data collected through it is used. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@talven.in.

We only collect what you give us, plus basic technical data:

• Waitlist: your WhatsApp number and, if you choose one, the sport you play.
• Pre-booking: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, city and pincode, the shoe, size and quantity you choose, and anything optional you add such as your playing surface or notes.
• Technical data: standard information your browser sends, such as device type, browser, pages visited and approximate location from your IP address, used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.

We do not take payments on this site, so we never collect card, UPI or bank details.

• To record your pre-booking and hold your pre-book price.
• To send your booking confirmation and contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email to confirm your pair before launch.
• To tell waitlist members about the launch and early access on WhatsApp.
• To check that we can deliver to your pincode.
• To answer your questions and improve our products and site.
• To meet our legal obligations and prevent misuse.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@talven.in. This will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we may no longer be able to hold your pre-booking.

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Talven, and only as much as they need:

• Google, where form entries are stored (Google Sheets) and from where confirmation emails are sent.
• Our website hosting and email delivery providers.
• The agency that manages this website on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Courier and delivery partners at launch - your name, phone number and address only.
• Government authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where they do, we rely on them to protect it to the standard this policy describes.

• Pre-booking details: until your order is fulfilled or cancelled, then up to 12 months for support and records, unless the law requires longer (for example, tax records after a purchase).
• Waitlist details: until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Access to your data is limited to the people who need it to handle your booking. We use reasonable security safeguards, but no system on the internet is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Under Indian data protection law you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct, complete or update it.
• Erase it, where we no longer need it.
• Stop sending you messages.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Email info@talven.in from the address or number you used. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Our forms are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to join the waitlist or make the pre-booking for you.

We do not use advertising cookies. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to pre-book.

We may update this policy as Talven grows - for example when we start taking payments at launch. The date at the top always shows the latest version. For any privacy question or grievance, contact our team at info@talven.in.
